Windows sometimes freeze while calculating the time needed to copy files

When I copy or move large files and folders in Windows File Explorer, the progress dialog frequently freezes or becomes unresponsive while calculating the remaining time, forcing me to wait or cancel the operation entirely. This issue occurs intermittently and seems unrelated to file size or drive type, and I would like to know if there is a known fix or workaround to prevent these freezes during file transfers.
