WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER

Windows media player with Windows 11no longer shows artist and song track names, album artwork etc. Previously used it dozens of times to play and rip showing  title tracks and artist names

    In the media player's organization menu, select Apply Media Information Changes to reacquire metadata.

      Still doesn't work for when I'm trying to rip a CD. The player is going to musicmatch-ssl.xboxlive.com to get the metadata, and always comes up empty. Typing that URL into a browser gets a 404 error. This site seems to be dead. Is there an alternative, and if so, how to tell the player to look there instead of the musicmatch site?
