Windows freezing after CPU/RAM/MOBO upgrade
After a few minutes (can be instantly) windows will completely freeze and on occasion restart, but still frozen, requiring a shut down.
If you upgraded your RAM, make sure it is seated correctly in the motherboard slots. You can also run Windows Memory Diagnostic or third-party tools to test for RAM stability and errors.
