Windows explorer bug: renaming files highlights file name while editing, removing entire name
This has been a problem for several years with Windows explorer. If you work decently fast editing a file name, either by clicking on it or pressing F2, and then start typing immediately, Explore...
Jus tried to rename the folder in the "Navigation Pane" by double clicking it or hitting F2 and it would not let me do it... or rather it would not access the folder name to change it. So in that respect, they fixed it by preventing you from trying to rename it in this manner. You can select the folder and then select rename from the drop down menu.
Now if they could just fix Edge, where you start typing in a field of a web page and the page somehow moves the cursor. So you are typing a word like catnip but it comes out tnipca or something weirder.
