Windows Activation Error
I recently upgraded motherboard and now my windows activation is not working. Yes my Microsoft account is linked to the activation.

Try to find out the product key HoldenStorm using the old pc you had or if you have trashed it then - Check in your email or junk or spam, in case you purchased the key.
Or you can check in your account.

If you had OEM license before motherboard change, and now you changed motherboard, you need to buy new license as OEM license is tied to first motherboard it is activated on. If you've retail license, re-inserting the product key should re-activate.

If you see an option for Troubleshoot, click on it and follow the prompts. The troubleshooter may help you reactivate Windows automatically, especially if you have a digital license linked to your Microsoft account.
