Windows 11 windget page annoyances

Just installed Win11. So far, I like the graphic redesign, but I am really annoyed by the widgets page.

First, it does not respect the languages I have set for Windows (English first, French second). The page appears in Dutch (I live in Belgium). Going through the settings brings you to MSN website. If I change the language there, only the website temporarily switches to French, but the widget page remains stubbornly in Dutch.

Second, I would have a use for calendar, weather, stocks ticker, but the clickbait news from MSN are a pure distraction and annoyance, and you cannot remove the news widget!

I just suspect these clickbait news are just there to goad you to Edge, which is configured by default to send all your browsing history to MS. Monetization more important than user choice or privacy, I guess. Good thing EdgeDeflector still works in Win11.
