Windows 11 Using Libre Office
I have used Word Pad since 1994; xp and windows 7. There were few problems using Word Pad during that time. After Windows 7, that was the best, I went to Windows 10. Using Word Pad with Windows 10 has been a nightmare. Other than using it with familiarity, I say "Good Riddance!" My fear is that Windows 11 might be just as bad." I studied Libre before. My problem with that was empty paragraphs. I think they were waiting for future resolution. Has this problem been resolved? Will Libre be the same in Windows 11 or can we expect changes?

Microsoft has maintained WordPad in Windows 11, but it remains a basic text editor with limited features. Its functionality hasn't changed significantly from previous versions, but it still can be unreliable for complex documents or formatting tasks.
