windows 11 upgrade + hardware upgrade
Hi , so my current pc is not supported by windows 11, so im running windows 10 currently . im currently looking to upgrade my pc to an 11th gen i5 and equivent motherboard. how will this work...
Windows 10/11 licenses are generally linked to your hardware via a digital license. If your current Windows 10 is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account, replacing the motherboard and CPU might cause Windows to lose activation temporarily, but it can often be reactivated afterward.
