Windows 11 Update Failures and Installation Errors
I am experiencing frequent issues with Windows 11 updates failing to install, and I often receive error messages during the update process. These errors prevent my system from updating to the latest version, and I have tried multiple troubleshooting steps such as restarting, running the Windows Update Troubleshooter, and resetting Windows Update components, but the problem remains. The update failures are disrupting my system's security and performance, and I am unsure of the underlying cause, whether it’s related to corrupted files, incompatible drivers, or insufficient disk space. I am looking for effective solutions to resolve these update errors so I can keep my Windows 11 system current and secure without further interruptions.

Hi danicucci, if Exchange still says CnameMissing after several days, I would verify the records from outside your DNS provider using a public lookup tool. Make sure selector1 and selector2 are exact CNAME records, not TXT records, and that they point to the exact Microsoft 365 DKIM targets for your tenant. Also check for extra dots, spaces, old records, or DNS proxying from services like Cloudflare. If external DNS shows the correct CNAMEs and Microsoft 365 still refuses to detect them after 72 hours, open an Exchange Online support ticket and include screenshots plus external DNS lookup results.
