windows 11 thunderbolt 4 bug
I chose an Asus B550 proart (AM4) board because it is factory provisioned with Thunderbolt IV ports/capability (no add-on card required, Intel Thunderbolt driver provided).
Under Win10 Pro, Thunderbolt worked flawlessly- this was crucial to me because I use a Universal Audio Thunderbolt III audio interface.
On 'upgrading' (ha, ha) to Win11 Pro, the new OS refused to detect my Thunderbolt interface.
I am sorely vexed, because Win10 is approaching end-of-life this year. I will therefore be forced to upgrade to 11 - which didn't see my $$$$ Thunderbolt interface!
I have updated the ProArt BIOS and my Thunderbolt driver package is up to date. But I'd hate to go through the same misery again with the same result!
What does Microsoft have to say on this matter? Has anyone got a reliable and coherent response from MS regarding Thunderbolt III & IV under Windows 11 Pro?
