It looks like the perfect way - but it doesn't work here. I set the value to 2 and after restart and then checking it was set to 2 - but still no labels. Do you have any ideas? aBuntobox

sunnyrio after playing around with Win11 settings mine isn't that bad:

I've removed all widgets, news, crappity crap of course. I'm still configuring this new laptop, but for now I can live with that.
The taskbar is the major issue, I can't fathom how nobody said anything during the testing phase and development of Win11.

Your menu doesn't have an automatic thing though, to show most used apps. You actually have to lay it out yourself!
I haven't used a normal windows taskbar for a decade. I saw one the other day, where it was centred!!! I can't stand no words on the tabs, and I can't stand having shortcuts on there too, indistinguishable from running apps, that's just pure insanity.
