WIndows 11 stops recognizing monitors as audio output devices when idle
For some reason, Windows 11 stops recognizing my two external monitors as audio output devices when I leave my desktop idle. I also have headphones plugged in and they will become the only output aud...
I don't know if this is a fix or not, but I wonder if anyone has tried going into Device Manager -> Sound, video and game controllers -> HD Audio Driver for Display Audio (my laptop has two of these).
If you right click each of these, and go to Properties -> Power Management tab, they each have the checkbox to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
I wonder if unchecking that option on each instance might have any effect on this issue.
