Windows 11, Start button menu, make it show all apps by default
Reza_Ameri
do you work for Microsoft? Can you not just add to a complaint about how ridiculous it is to have to click on all apps and not have an option to set this as default. 'Run time logic error in Microsoft collective brain' could be the title. it's absolutely absurd! I'm sure if we tally the amount of people annoyed with it there would be a great enough concern to make a simple freaking point and click solution to make all the registry hack automated. preferably to where you don't have to restart your world in the midst of using frustrating OS!
You're questions should be asked from Microsoft and Windows Engineers and since I am not part of the team, I am unable to response. However, feedback shared in Feedback Hub are more impactful than forum and in addition people could upvote it.

Reza_Ameri thank you for your response. It is absolutely frustrating how little it seems microsoft cares. Of course I suppose if I had an illegal monopoly that was not taken down when it was proven they stole from netscape because it would have too much negative impact on global monetary system. I guess I could do whatever I want as well. LOL.
But we are continually getting closer to a world where linux is an actual option... And I am going to switch everything I can as fast as I can... cause... it works. 😉- Reza_AmeriJul 30, 2024Silver ContributorYou're welcome and I couldn't share any specific comment on how the process of feedback handling works but I noticed both cases which Microsoft taking feedback seriously and cases which not. However, the most reliable way of share feedback is the Feedback Hub .
- BfiznitzJul 08, 2024Copper ContributorWindows 11 is, in a word, just another abortion foisted out as the "End all, Be all" of Windows. I've scoured through these 2 years worth of posts, AND as is usually the case, MS is just in 'LALALALALALALALALA' mode ignoring the masses. Ditch 11 and run 10 in a virtual box on a stable Linux (Debian) platform. Once my 10 goes unsupported, that's EXACTLY what I'm going to do.

Well now that Microsoft will roll out ads in the new start menu we at least know why they refuse to implement a change but break all ways to change it.
