Windows 11 screen flickering and then suddenly turning black screen

This is almost always a graphics driver issue. Here’s the quick fix:

Boot into Safe Mode (restart and hold Shift while clicking "Restart" → Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → Startup Settings → Enable Safe Mode). Once in, uninstall your current graphics driver from Device Manager and restart—Windows will install a basic, stable driver.

If that works, manually download the latest driver from your GPU manufacturer (Intel, AMD, or NVIDIA) instead of using Windows Update.

In Device Manager, right-click your GPU > Uninstall device.

Check Delete driver software if prompted.

Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the default driver.

Alternatively, visit your GPU manufacturer’s website (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) to download and install the latest driver manually.
