Windows 11 Media Player gives an 0x80070323 error when playing an MP4 file
I get a 0x80070323 error when I play an MP4 file on my computer and then close the actual folder the file is in. I shouldn't need to keep the folder open just to play the file. Jesus Microsoft is getting more and more frustrating to use. Any solutions?

Copy the MP4 file to your desktop or the “Videos” folder before playing it, and avoid playing it directly from an external or online location.

Open Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off.
Uncheck Windows Media Player, click OK, then restart your PC.
Repeat the process and re-enable Windows Media Player to reset its settings.

Hi Nixonmon,
Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question. I tried everything you suggested, including restarting (twice, after disabling and re-enabling the Media Player), and then even a third time, but the issue persists.
