Windows 11 Installation Internet issue
I have a new Intel NUC13ANH i5 with 64gb ram and 2tb SSD. In trying to install windows 11 pro it fails when the program wants to access the internet. At first it thought it may have been a bad wi-fi module, so I connected it to the router directly and it still failed. I installed Ubuntu, and it accessed the wifi connection without a problem.
Not sure what to try next -

Hi AndrewHart1966,
To fix the Windows 11 installation internet issue, you can try the following steps:
- Update the BIOS of your NUC. The Intel NUC13ANH i5 requires BIOS version 2.0.0 or higher to install Windows 11. You can download the latest BIOS update from the Intel website.
- Connect your NUC to the internet using an Ethernet cable. If you are using Wi-Fi, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or using a mobile hotspot.
- Create new Windows 11 installation media using the Media Creation Tool. This will ensure that the installation media is not corrupted.
- Disable your firewall and antivirus software temporarily. These programs can sometimes interfere with the Windows 11 installation process.
- Perform a clean installation of Windows 11. This will erase all of the data on your NUC, so be sure to back up your important files before you proceed.

Thanks for the information, however I have not been able to get windows installed as it just hangs following selection of keyboard. I have the latest install media from microsoft, but this obviously does not have drivers for the intel wireless or ethernet modules. I also tried a fresh install of windows 10, with the same problem. Sort of annoying, as ubutu works straight away.
- CanyonsenCopper ContributorIf the wifi icon does not appear during the install, it means the wifi driver is not found. It is a hardware issue. Actually, you can bypass the network requirement and manually install the drive after success install.
