Windows 11 Explorer: can't order quick access items in the left pane

I can't reorder the quick access items in the right pane of the windows explorer through drag and drop. It's weird, because if i drag and drop one of them to the top, it works, but if i want to place...

Not working. ... > Options > View > Navigation Pane > uncheck Show All Folders
Still cannot manually sort. 😞

GeekForLife I keep forgetting this too as I use it so infrequently. One has to do their reordering from the left panel of the File Explorer dialog, not the right panel.

bbran24 yes, it has to be done from the left pane, but it doesn't work here either, unless you unselect "show all folders" first.

  SKKMom thanks, and agreed I was assuming that that show all folders being unchecked was a given when I passed on about the left pane
