The logs show the result of the problem, not its cause: Windows lost power or froze and then restarted unexpectedly. Kernel-Power 41 and Event 6008 confirm that. The TPM-WMI and HerdHelper errors happened after the restart and are not the reason the laptop crashes when unplugged.
Because the crash happens every time the charger is removed, the likely fault is the battery or the power transition from charger power to battery power. Start with the battery.
- Back up important files and avoid using the laptop on battery for important work until this is resolved.
- Run the laptop manufacturer’s built-in diagnostics and choose the Battery test. If it reports a failed or weak battery, the fix is battery replacement or hardware service.
- In Command Prompt, create a battery report:powercfg /batteryreport /output "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\battery-report.html"Open the report from the desktop. If Full charge capacity is much lower than Design capacity, or the charge level drops suddenly, the battery is likely failing.
- If the battery test passes, connect the charger and install the latest BIOS/UEFI, chipset, power-management, and graphics drivers from the laptop manufacturer’s website. Then restart and test again.
- If the laptop still freezes or restarts after those updates, especially if it also happens outside Windows or in Safe Mode, arrange manufacturer repair. That points to the battery, battery connector, or motherboard power circuit rather than a Windows setting.
Do not clear the TPM or spend time repairing the HerdHelper service before resolving the battery/power problem.

- I backed up my files.
- I ran the battery tests using Lenovo Diagnostics Evolution.
- I created the battery report. How can I attach it here?
