Windows 11 Activation Screen Frozen, All Buttons Unresponsive - What Should I Do?
Hello, tech experts. I'm encountering an issue while trying to activate Windows 11: the activation screen is completely frozen, and none of the buttons on the screen can be clicked or respond to any actions.
In this situation, how can I force-quit or proceed with completing the activation? Are there any command-line methods or other approaches to bypass the interface and finish the activation? Thank you!

- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Look for "Settings" or "Activation" related processes.
- Select the process and click End Task.
- After closing, restart your PC and see if the activation prompt reappears or if you can activate via Settings.

Hold down the power button until the PC shuts off.
Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
This may interrupt the frozen activation window.
Try to re-register Settings app to resolve freezing of activation page:
Get-AppxPackage *windows.immersivecontrolpanel* | Reset-AppxPackage
If that doesn't works and if you've retail product key with you, try this command to activate using Command Prompt:
slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
You need to replace XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX with your own product key in above command.
Once product key is installed, make sure you're connected to Internet, while Windows confirms with activation servers.
