Windows 11 - Gallery asking for Admin
I'm experiencing an issue with the Gallery app on my Windows 11 device. Whenever I try to access or use the app, it prompts me for administrator privileges

If the Gallery app on your Windows 11 device is asking for administrator privileges every time you try to access it, it can be frustrating. Here are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix this issue:
1. Run the App as Administrator
While it’s not ideal to always run the app as an administrator, you can try launching it with elevated permissions to see if it resolves the issue:
- Right-click on the Gallery app (from the Start menu or desktop shortcut).
- Select Run as administrator.
- If prompted, enter your admin credentials.
2. Change App Settings
Sometimes, modifying the app settings can help:
- Right-click on the Gallery app shortcut.
- Select Properties.
- Go to the Compatibility tab.
- Uncheck the box that says Run this program as an administrator if it’s checked.
- Click Apply and then OK.
