Windows 10 Pc can't find WiFi
Microsoft has removed the offline setup option from Windows 11 Version 25H2 during the initial setup process. Your PC now needs to be connected to the internet during setup.
You can complete the setup through the internet, but the problem is that some Wi-Fi adapters are not compatible with Microsoft's default drivers. In such cases, you need to install the drivers manually. The challenge is that during the initial setup process, you do not have the option to install drivers.
My suggestion is to complete the initial setup by using a USB internet dongle, Ethernet connection, or another compatible network device.
If you cannot find a way to connect to the internet, you can bypass the online setup requirement using Command Prompt.
Step-by-step bypass guide
- Open Command Prompt— On the "Let's connect you to a network" screen, press Shift + F10. (On some laptops, you may need to press Shift + Fn + F10.)
- Enter the Bypass Command—In the Command Prompt window, type the following command exactly and press Enter: OOBE\BYPASSNRO
- Restart—Your computer will automatically restart.
- Disconnect the Internet - Unplug the Ethernet cable or turn off your Wi-Fi router.
- Select Offline Setup - Once the PC returns to the network screen, click the newly appeared "I don't have internet" option.
- Continue with Limited Setup - On the next screen, select "Continue with limited setup."
- Create a Local Account - You can now create a local username and password to complete the setup and access your desktop.
