Win11 not selection rectangle from the bottom of task bar?
- Oct 02, 20241.Check Settings:
Go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar. Ensure that the taskbar settings are configured correctly.
2. Restart Windows Explorer:
Sometimes UI issues can be resolved by restarting Windows Explorer.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
Locate Windows Explorer in the list.
Right-click on it and select Restart.
3. Update Windows:
Make sure your Windows 11 is up to date.
Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.
4. Check Graphics Drivers:
Outdated graphics drivers can cause display issues, including problems with the taskbar.
You can update your graphics drivers via Device Manager or by visiting the manufacturer's website.
5. Check for Corrupt Files:
Run a System File Checker scan to find and repair corrupt system files:
Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. Wait for the process to complete.
6. Reboot Your Computer:
A simple reboot can often fix many issues.
