Will my older CPU work with 24H2? The official answer is NO. But you can fix this by skipping the system check during upgrade or clean install.
In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following path on the left sidebar:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup
Name the new value exactly:
AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU.
Double-click the new entry, set the Value data to 1, and click OK.
Close the Registry Editor and Command Prompt. Click the back arrow (←) in the setup window, then click the forward arrow (→) again. The compatibility check should now be bypassed, and you can proceed with the installation.
