Widget text malformed and unreadable. Restarts don't fix it

Windows 11 -  weather and news widget is now unusable. Not sure what has caused this. No solutions seem to be online. No one else seems to have this problem.

The below shows the mouseover behaviour. Pictures disappear. 

Text everywhere else seems to be fine. Only the widget is doing this. Changing themes and colours doesn't seem to change anything either.
