Why was the upgrade to 26100.8457 so massive?

The upgrade to build 26100.8457 has failed to install through Windows Update, and I noticed the update seems unusually massive in size. Is this build so large that downloading a fresh ISO and performing an in-place upgrade would be more reliable than letting Windows Update keep failing repeatedly?

The ISO contains all necessary files, reducing the risk of partial downloads or corrupted update files.

Major builds can be hundreds of megabytes or even several gigabytes, increasing the chance of download or network issues during Windows Update.
