Companies often start with a PLG model for self-service customers while also employing a sales team for large, complex enterprise deals. This allows them to serve the "people" (end-users) effectively while still delivering the revenue investors expect from big accounts.

You're building features that make the product look more complex (easier to pitch, harder to copy) but don't actually help users.
