Where's the Select Folder button in File Explorer?

Win 11 Pro 24H2. I'm new to Win 11 (from 10 Pro) and just started setting up a laptop, but ran into something seemingly basic that I wasn't expecting. In File Explorer, I've highlighted a folder and it shows a check next to it, but I don't see a Select Folder button to implement it ("Quick Launch"). In the lower right, there are only two thumbnails dealing with how information is displayed. I looked in Options (View), but didn't see any setting that seemed to speak to this. What am I missing? Thanks.

In File Explorer, you've selected a folder (which shows a checkmark or highlight), but there's no explicit "Select Folder" button.
