Same here (Windows 11 Build 26100.4946). Strange thing, as soon as i try to track down the origin of this windows (by Sysinternals Process Explorer) it disappears. I will give it a try doing a reboot and then start Sysinternals Process Monitor before starting explorer.exe.

I am experiencing this issue as well. It's annoying because it forces me to navigate around the 2nd window when I just want to click the explorer icon and go to explorer. I will appreciate any advice for fixing this.

Apps like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Google Drive may open auxiliary windows for syncing or notifications, which might appear as separate Explorer windows.
