When opening the Edge browser in Windows 11, the desktop icon still flickers

When using the Edge browser (version 146.0.3856.62), the desktop icon continues to flicker or briefly redraw. I have tried various fixes found online, but the issue persists. Currently, the flickering can only be avoided by keeping the Edge window in the background or minimized at all times. I hope Microsoft will address and fix this issue.

This flickering issue is often caused by hardware acceleration features in Edge or Windows that conflict with your graphics driver or desktop rendering. When Edge is actively rendering web pages, especially with hardware acceleration enabled, it can interfere with the desktop rendering process, causing the icons to flicker or redraw briefly.

The flickering or brief redrawing of the Edge desktop icon in your specific version (146.0.3856.62) sounds like a known rendering issue or a graphics-related glitch.

Disable hardware acceleration in Edge settings and update your graphics card drivers to the latest version.
