WhatsApp Widget Appearing on Lock Screen - Need Help
In recent weeks, I've noticed a WhatsApp "player" widget appearing on my PC's lock screen when I wake it up. This widget includes back, pause, and forward buttons, similar to what you’d see on a phone’s lock screen when media is playing. However, the WhatsApp desktop app isn't playing any audio or video; it’s just idle, waiting for messages as usual.
I've checked the WhatsApp desktop app settings but found nothing related to the lock screen. I also looked through Windows 11 settings under Lock Screen, but there's no mention of WhatsApp there either.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated!

Go to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen > Lock screen status and turn off WhatsApp notifications, or uninstall and reinstall the WhatsApp app to clear any abnormal components.
