What is the best screenshot tool for pc on Windows 11/10?
The built-in screenshot tool on Windows 11 is convenient, but it feels quite limited once you start using it regularly. It works fine for basic captures, yet it lacks the depth and flexibility that many users expect from a daily screenshot workflow.
Editing features are very minimal for this stock windows 11 screenshot tool. You can crop and draw simple lines, but there are no advanced tools such as numbered steps, blur control, shapes with styles, or layered annotations, which makes it less suitable for tutorials or professional use.
Another drawback is workflow efficiency. Hotkeys are basic, automation is almost nonexistent, and there is no smart system for naming, organizing, or tagging screenshots, so managing many captures quickly becomes messy.
Finally, sharing and export options are weak. There is no built-in upload to cloud services, no instant link sharing, and limited format control, which means extra steps are often required compared to dedicated third-party screenshot tools.
