What is the best Android data recovery software working on Windows 11 PC?
Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well! I recently faced a frustrating situation where I accidentally deleted some important files from my Android device. I’ve tried a couple of Android data recovery apps directly on my phone, but they haven’t yielded the results I was hoping for.
Now, I'm looking for a reliable Android data recovery software that I can use on my Windows PC to retrieve these lost files. Ideally, the program should be user-friendly and effective, with good reviews from other users. Additionally, I would appreciate any suggestions on software that supports various file types such as photos, videos, and documents.
If anyone has had success in such a case or can share their experiences with different options, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks
Been there! I deleted important photos and docs on my Android, and phone apps didn’t help. Tried LabFone for Android on my PC, connected my phone, scanned, and it found almost everything I thought was gone. Definitely recommend giving it a shot!
I found it here: (Recovered 95% of my images, very lucky!)

Based on my experience I would suggest Stellar Data Recovery for Android for three reasons.
- The software took some time to scan my phone's internal data but because the scanning was deep, I was able to recover most of my lost data,
- It doesn't have an exclusive app that you'll find on Playstore unlike any other Android data recovery software, which means like any other app, I didn't give any credentials or permission to this software to look into and scan my internal memory. So data privacy was maintained. This software was exclusively made for Android models and,

If you are using an SD card to store files, you can take out the SD card and insert it into your computer. Sometimes the deleted files will be displayed in the computer's resource manager, and it will be very easy to restore them. If this method failed to recover data from Android phone then you may need a professional Android data recovery software for your important data.
- UmaohyCopper ContributorThe files won't sit in the Recycle Bin forever. After a certain period (usually a few days to a month, depending on the settings), they get automatically deleted. This means if you don't check it regularly, you could lose out on recovering files that may have been important to you. The Recycle Bin typically only covers specific file types, like photos and documents. If you accidentally delete something like a text message or an app, it's not going to help you there. You'd need a dedicated Android data recovery tool for that kind of stuff.

Regarding recovering data from Android phone with Google Drive, this is a really simple and effective method! I accidentally deleted some important documents and photos before, but I found that Google Drive automatically synchronized them for me, so I could easily recover them. Let me talk about the steps of this method, which is especially suitable for friends who want to recover data from Android.
- Open Google Drive: First log in to your Google Drive account on a computer or mobile browser, or you can use the mobile app directly. As long as you use the same Google account, the previously synchronized files will generally be here.
- Find files: After entering, just look through your "My Drive" or "Recent" folder to see if there are any photos or documents you accidentally deleted. Sometimes it will automatically synchronize these important files without you having to do it manually.
- Recover files: Found it? That's easy, click on the file, then choose to download (if you are operating on a computer), or save it directly to your phone. If you use the mobile Google Drive App, it will provide a direct download option, and then import the file back to the phone and it will be OK.
This is how to recover data from Android through Google Drive. It is simple and fast. If you are used to turning on automatic synchronization, this situation is really a lifesaver.

Lsanardo Choosing the best Android data recovery software can depend on several factors, including the type of data you need to recover, the software’s capabilities, and how user-friendly it is. Here are some key criteria to help you choose the best Android data recovery software:
1. Supported Data Types: Ensure the software can recover a wide range of data types, including contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, videos, documents, and WhatsApp messages.
2. User-Friendly Interface: The software should have a clean, intuitive interface. Look for tools that provide step-by-step instructions, especially if you're not tech-savvy.
3. Preview Feature: Choose software that allows you to preview recoverable files before committing to a recovery. This saves time and storage space.
4. Compatibility: Ensure the software supports your specific Android device and OS version. Some tools may only work with certain brands or older versions of Android.
By considering these factors, you'll be able to select the best Android data recovery tool that fits your needs.
- AlendrosCopper ContributorWhen you are looking for an Android data recovery software. If you're also using Microsoft's OneDrive, that's a neat trick. Make sure to back up your important Android data to the cloud whenever possible. OneDrive offers seamless integration with Windows, and you'll have your files handy if something goes wrong.
Plus, if you're using Windows 10 or 11, look into the Your Phone app. It lets you sync notifications, messages, and photos from your Android device straight to your PC, making backups a breeze! - EthanHernandezIron Contributor
Generally speaking, the file manager on Android phones has a function similar to the computer's Recycle Bin. The deleted files are not completely gone immediately, but are temporarily placed in the "Recycle Bin" and will be automatically cleared after a period of time. I found all the files that I accidentally deleted there, easily, without using any third-party tools.
If the file manager you use also has this function, it is simply one of the simplest Android data recovery methods, and it is effortless! Check the Recycle Bin quickly, the deleted files may be lying there waiting for you to save them.

Lsanardo Here's a step-by-step guide to help you restore deleted files from Google backup without Android data recovery tool:
- Open the Settings app on Android phone and tap the Factory reset option.
- During the setup process, you will be asked to sign in to your Google account. Use the same account where you have stored the backup.
- Once signed in, the device will show you a list of available backups from other devices linked to the Google account. Choose the most relevant backup.
- You can choose to restore apps, contacts, calendar events, call history, and other data. Uncheck anything you don’t want to restore.
- The restoration process will begin. Wait for it to finish before continuing with the setup. Once done, your apps, settings, and other data will be restored based on what was backed up.

This data recovery for Android method does seem to be quite effective, especially without any third-party tools. However, I have a small question. If I only want to recover some specific content, such as some photos or documents in the phone, without resetting the entire phone, would this method be a bit too much? Have you ever tried to restore only part of the data instead of the entire system backup? I feel that after doing a factory reset and then restoring, although the data is back, if only one or two files are lost, isn’t it a bit of a big deal?

I had a similar experience before. I accidentally deleted several important photos from Android phone. I was really going crazy at the time! Then I suddenly remembered that I had always had Google Cloud backup turned on on my Android phone.
I checked directly on Google Photos, and sure enough, those photos were still there! Google Photos has an automatic sync function. As long as you are connected to Wi-Fi, it will quietly back up all the photos and videos to the cloud. It is a lifesaver. You don’t have to worry about accidentally deleting anything. Photos and other things will be automatically backed up. Even if you delete them on your phone, they can still be saved in the Google Photos recycle bin for 30 days. As long as you find that the file is gone during that time, you can easily restore it.
So, if you have also turned on Google Cloud backup, this is definitely the simplest and most effective Android data recovery method, especially without having to look for those third-party tools, it is much easier!
- DiegoanaCopper ContributorSome Android data recovery software are like navigating a labyrinth without a map. Trust me, if it's overly complicated, you'll just end up more frustrated than ever. Look for user-friendly interfaces. If a tool has a trial version, give it a whirl to see how intuitive it is before committing.
