Update disables programs
Am on insider program Last update 9 October went fine but on rebooting neither Outlook or Firefox will work . Everything else starts up fine. Have uninstalled the update and turned off auto update but it has appeared again this morning with the same result Have installed it 3 times after each appearance with the same result Am at a loss as to know what to do

Since you're on the Insider program, report the bug via the Feedback Hub:
- Open Feedback Hub.
- Describe the issue thoroughly to help Microsoft address the bug.
When a specific update repeatedly breaks core applications like Outlook and Firefox, you need a systematic approach to resolve it.
I do realise that so what are you offering as a solution rather than just an obvious statement
