Upadted 28 Oct. 2025 : Phone link disconnects W11 Pixel 6a version 16
Phone link doesn't "go to sleep" but it disconnects when PC is logged off with Pixel 6a & Windows 11 24h2 Oct. 2025
Android system version 16 update 5 September 2025
PC settings > network & internet > advanced network settings >Network reset
PC Start > all >right click on phone link > more > app settings > reset
Android Check you have all the right Permissions set for Phone link including Location. This is important

On phone set only 1 headphone or buds in connected devices
PC Control Panel > power options > change plan settings > change advanced power settings > hard disk > turn off hard disk > plugged in > never
PC go to Device manager > network adaptors > Intel Wi-Fi 6AX201160MHz right click > properties > power management > uncheck power saving items

If you still have issues > Open phone link > settings > devices > select Pixel 6a > remove > add device > follow the prompts
On Pixel > Battery > battery usage > link to windows > Allow background usage on > (select text) > unrestricted
On PC turn off screen saver > Start > search> screen saver > none > uncheck on resume display logon screen > apply > OK
Repair phone link on PC - start > all > right click on phone link > app settings > REPAIR
On PC found Wi-Fi was not connected properly. Goto Start > settings > Network & Internet > Properties < select private network > restart PC go to Properties again and select Public Network. Wi-Fi should now be connected properly
Reset PC - fixed the issue
