Uninstallers may leave leftover files on Windows 11
When uninstallers remove a program on Windows 11, they often skip shared libraries, user settings, and cached update files, leaving behind hundreds of megabytes of clutter across your system drive and registry. These orphaned items can accumulate over time, slowing down search indexing, causing startup delays, and even triggering error messages when you try to reinstall the same software later.

Deleting the wrong registry key can corrupt other applications or even the OS itself.
Check Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders for leftover folders related to the uninstalled program. Look in C:\Users[Your Username]\AppData\Local and C:\Users[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming for residual data.
