Basic PDF viewers are annoying when you just want to circle a paragraph or sketch a quick diagram. I've been using PlanDiFy lately, and it lets you draw on PDF online directly on the document without converting it to another format first.

It has all the essentials: freehand marks, shapes, lines, and revision clouds. You can also change colors and line styles to keep your notes organized. There's a desktop app for Windows, plus a browser version that doesn't force you to sign in.

How to draw on PDF online:

[ 01 ] Open your PDF in PlanDiFy.

[ 02 ] Choose a pen or shape tool.

[ 03 ] Draw circles, arrows, sketches, or notes directly on the page.

[ 04 ] Adjust the color and line style, then save the annotated PDF.

The best part is keeping your original layout intact. You don't need to rebuild the whole document just to add a few scribbles.
