If you prefer working in the terminal, Ima Ge Ma Gick offers a simple way to remove solid-color backgrounds without opening a graphics editor. It also comes in handy when you need to edit image with ai in conjunction with other image-processing tools.
The workflow is as follows:
- Install the software → Open a command prompt in the image folder → Enter the command → Replace the input filename and background color → Save the processed image.
ma gick convert input.png -fuzz 10% -transparent white output.png
- Replace input.png with the name of your image file, and replace white with the background color you want to remove.
For users who wish to edit image with ai, please note that this command uses color-based transparency processing, not an AI model.
Notes
- Supports batch image processing and can be run from the command prompt or another terminal.
- The fuzz parameter controls the number of color variations included.
- Best suited for images with a relatively uniform background.
