Taskbar Won't Unhide Unless Plugged into Monitor

Hello,

I recently got a new computer, a Dell G16, and I'm having a problem with the taskbar. I want it to always stay at the bottom of my screen, but it keeps disappearing and will only show when I move my mouse down there. I've unchecked the "Automatically hide the taskbar" option in settings, but this does not work. Weirdly, when I plug into an external monitor, the problem resolves itself. If I uncheck "Automatically hide the taskbar," the taskbar on my external monitor and on my computer will stay, but if I check it then they will both hide unless I hover over them with my mouse. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
