Taskbar goes dark black intermittently

I am observing this bug with multiple screens and the crazy thing is that it affects the screen that is marked as "make this my main monitor". The taskbar on the other screens remain readable with high contrast but on the "main monitor" it gets dark and hard to identify anything. If I then click on the taskbar it gets focus and bright as normal - as soon as I switch back to some window it gets dark and unreadable again. It would be more logically the other way around. As a workaround I selected my Laptop display as main monitor that I am hardly using but this bug is a little crazy.
