Task bar space not being used?

How to make Windows 11 make use of the full task bar?  When task bar gets full, it then shrinks to an overflow menu, the 3 dots.  why is there a ton of space still available?  there is no way to adjust this or disable the overflow menu?

Windows 11 doesn’t officially allow disabling the overflow menu or fully customizing the taskbar’s behavior without registry edits or third-party tools.

In Windows 11, the taskbar is designed with a specific layout and behavior that includes an overflow menu (the three dots) when too many icons are pinned or running. Unlike previous versions, Windows 11 has a more streamlined, centered taskbar, and Microsoft has limited options for customizing its behavior directly, especially regarding how much space is allocated for icons versus the overflow.

Windows 11's taskbar is designed with a fixed maximum size, and even when icons are added, it may not expand beyond a certain point.
