Subscribing to this forum
Anyone understand the mess in here? Which of these three subscribes to a discussion? At the moment, as you can see, one of the three is subscribed. There is only one possible action, get notified, or not. So why are there three places to subscribe to the same thing?
Thank you for the feedback, yes I agree its not the clearest.
We will take this onboard as we start to build a new UI / UX for the Microsoft Tech Community due in early 2024 and, if possible, see if there is anything we can do to make it better in the current UI in the mean time.

- ABettanyIron ContributorPlease advise if you made any changes? Many folk are still confused/unhappy with the subscribe/follow options. Please write a post about how to use these?

Hi, all 3 labels work the same, I think it does not bother anyone!
Added at the top label recently and very well , I do not waste time opening context and searching ( subscribe )
There are a lot of new users - who thus have easier and faster to get notifications - if they are not participating in the thread.
Would you like to leave only 1 label?
- sunnyrioBrass ContributorIf they all do the same thing that would be fine. And I can see the non-menu one does activate one of the menus. But if I use the other menu, the first one still looks like I haven't subscribed. So I'm currently subscribing to both to make sure.

I always click at the top and do nothing else - everything always works well.
You don't need to confirm your subscription 2 times 🙂
Best regards.
