Start menu collapses as soon as I type or click on an item

Hello,

start menu on windows 11 is unusable as it closes immediately on interaction. Found https://www.windowslatest.com/2022/02/28/windows-11-kb5010414-hides-start-menu-microsoft-says-its-not-a-bug/ and removed KB5010414 but still it does not work.
