Sometimes, Windows Education editions are configured with management policies.

If this is a personal device, consider resetting Windows or doing a clean install to remove organizational policies.

  • Hi, that message normally means a policy is applied somewhere, even if the PC feels like a personal machine. Since you are on Windows 11 Pro Education, some policies may come from the school or organization license, Intune, Group Policy, provisioning packages, or registry-based policy settings. I’d check Settings > Accounts > Access work or school and disconnect anything that should not manage the device. Then run gpresult /h report.html to see what policies are applying. If it is school-managed, you may need the organization admin to remove the device from management.
