Shadow Bug
Recently my laptop updated with Windows 11 more frequently search icon window is blocking user action with background shadow it is not going unless I restart the system.

- If you need a quick fix, this worked for me:
1. Open task manager
2. End task Windows Explorer
3. Run it again by going to file -> Run new task -> explorer.exe
The task bar and desktop which turned black should appear normally again

it's a bug from November, so no much you can do. Just waiting they'll fix it asap.
You can still report the issue and maybe they'll fix it with the upcoming updates. Who knows.

- Like you mentioned this is a bug for sure, try run the Windows Update and download and install all updates. Try update graphic card driver.
If problem persist, open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
