Selective Suspend Does Not Work
I have a Lenovo Legion 5i Laptop and I'm using a USB A to 3.5mm Jack Adapter because the integrated jack ended up breaking. The issue that I'm facing is that does not matter what I do, the audio fades in and out when there is no activity coming from the media that I'm consuming. As soon as there is a second of silence, the USB stops sending a signal and when the audio resumes, then it comes back but there is a second of delay so the audio is muted for around a second. I don't know how to explain it better. The thing is that I have already tried everything. I have gone to device manager and disabled "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" on every device possible, and I have gone to power management and disabled Selective Suspend. I have restarted the computer multiple times, and nothing. Do any of you have a solution to this problem. Thank you.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your USB A to 3.5mm adapter. Check the manufacturer's website or Windows Update.

Setting the value of `DisableSelectiveSuspend` to 1 and restarting the computer will resolve the issue.

In the Registry Editor, navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usbhub\HubG
set the value of “DisableSelectiveSuspend” to 1, and restart your computer.
