Screen blinking white after factory reset
So, uh, I decided to factory reset my computer yesterday because it wasn't working really well, and, when everything was finished and I got to see the desktop, there were only two icons on the desktop (Recycle Bin and Microsoft Edge) and nothing besides the keyboard change icon on the taskbar. On top of the missing icons, the screen seems to "refresh" every second; It gets white and then the desktop icons appear as blank files to then actually load, and the mouse pointer just has the loading icon too the whole time, except when the screen flashes white, which makes it so the mouse pointer (no loading icon, just the plain arrow) appears. Any tips?
P.S. there's a video of the issue: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AmIsVahW74ixs1dgozJgvu0HR_X4?e=H8tLaG

- PrajwalDesaiCopper ContributorI assume you reset the PC with the option Remove everything which will remove all of your personal files, apps, and settings. That's why after the reset, you found few icons.
If the Windows reset was successful, I believe the screen flashes are appearing because the display drivers are not initialized or installed correctly. This is a common issue after PC resets and running a Windows Update would normally update the missing drivers. If your laptop requires a separate drivers, go to the vendor site and manually download the missing drivers. You can try these basic troubleshooting steps and if that doesn't work, we will work on next set of troubleshooting steps.

Seems my system's windows installation files are corrupted (how? I don't know, but that's how it is...)
But still, thanks for replying to the topic, didn't think anyone would reply in here...!- PrajwalDesaiCopper ContributorSo, a clean installation worked for you. You did that because you didn't have any important data on the hard drive. Next time, if you have significant data on your system, you can use the reset option and select Keep my files which will reset the PC and preserve your files intact on hard drive. Glad you solved this issue. Use this guide in case you need details for Windows 11 PC reset: https://www.prajwaldesai.com/how-to-factory-reset-a-windows-11-pc/
