Scheduled Dark Mode

Why is there no option to enable Scheduled Dark mode in Windows 11 (similar to Night Light) still after so many years? I do know there is a way to do that using Power tools but that consumes so many extra resources in the background. Is it just that difficult to code into the windows natively?
