Right-Clicking On Shortcuts In Start Menu Not Working.
Hi All,
I'm unable to right-click on my start menu, I use Open-Shell but I did check to see if right-clicking was working in the Win 11 start menu. No dice. The only difference is when I right-click on a shortcut in the Open-Shell menu Explorer cashes and I have to restart it in the Task Manager. Right-clicking simply doesn't work on the Win 11 start menu. No menu pops up but Explorer doesn't crash. Also, right-clicking on a app shortcut on the desktop crashes explorer.
I logged onto my Administrator account to test the behavior, and right-clicking on app shortcuts works just fine on that account. I've already re-created my user profile once. Upon re-creation right-clicking started working fine again, but after installing/uninstalling a program, can't remember which, it stopped working in my normal user account.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have system restore points, and registry backups, since I use BC Uninstaller. Maybe I should start there?

Your issue with right-click not working on the Start menu, desktop shortcuts, and Explorer crashing in your normal user account, but working fine in the Administrator account, suggests a user profile or software conflict problem. Since re-creating your user profile temporarily fixed it, but the issue returned after installing/uninstalling programs.
