Remove "Start backup" from File Explorer
Latest Windows 11 update shows this very annoying button, and can't find a way to remove it (I don't want to use this backup feature): Any PS script to disable this? Hope MS is working o...
MS knows you have bunch of GB in those folders, so wants to sell you additional Onedrive subscription, thats very obvious. But the problem is that I have stuff there I don't want to sync, and it just forces you to sync all you Users folders. And what if you have several machines, and you sync your Desktop folder, all computers will have the same Desktop files? I definitely don't want that!
hhudo: I suspect it is worse than that. My suspicion is that they want as much of everyone's info as possible in the Cloud and easily accessible for their version of AI to mine.
- I know for the fact that they don't use Onedrive data to train any AI, or to even read that data for anything, and its probably just to upsell. Balmer era still strong in Onedrive department:)
And, nothing comes close to what Facebook and Google knows about us:)
