Remove "Start backup" from File Explorer
Reza_Ameri on some machines i have insider build, on some don't. They all got this annoying button. Already shared on Feedback, but it can takes years until they get enough votes on this issue, or maybe decide to keep it there, but there has to be some toggle to turn it off.
Really tempted to just move storage to Google/Dropbox and uninstall Onedrive, noticed button isn't there if you don't have Onedrive or you're not logged in.
Try turn off the OneDrive and disable it from startup and restart your PC and see if the problem persists?
Some of them using onedrive private, some business version, some both.
I can't remove Onedrive, I just want that button to go away.
Or do i have to migrate everything to Google Storage so I can disable (sign out) Onedrive completely? If MS doesn't remove that spam button, I'll have to move to Google or Dropbox.Btw, on one machine I didn't sign in to OD, and Star Backup is not in the File Explorer. But hoping I don't have to go that far and migrated files from OD to some other cloud storage.
- You don't need to remove it, just for test try disable it from startup or sign out and see if that solves the issue?
This is just to test.- Sign out off Onedrive (or disable) removes it. But i need Onedrive for my regular cloud files storage, so don't want to disable it, just want to remove that button from the File Explorer.
